A certificate of origin is an official document confirming the country where the goods were produced. It is required by customs authorities and, in preferential trade, determines whether reduced or zero import duties apply. For Ukrainian exports to the EU, origin is usually evidenced by an EUR.1 movement certificate under the Association Agreement.
