Exporters from Ukraine must supply a certificate of conformity and a phytosanitary certificate, and the product must meet the composition requirements set out in the EU Honey Directive. Mislabelling blossom honey as honeydew is a known fraud risk, so authenticity testing at an accredited laboratory is standard practice for EU importers.
