Halal Certification

Halal certification confirms that a product and its production process comply with Islamic dietary requirements and are overseen by an accredited Islamic body. For plant-based products such as fruit, honey and grains, certification mainly covers absence of contamination with non-halal substances and clean production lines. It is required for sales into many Middle Eastern and South-East Asian markets.
