Lithuania is a working destination in its own right and a distribution point for the Baltic region. The lane runs entirely through Poland and crosses one external frontier.
How the lane runs
Loads cross at Dorohusk, run north through eastern Poland and enter Lithuania at Budzisko or Kalvarija. Both of those are internal Union crossings with no customs formality. Three to five days door to door is the realistic planning range, dominated as always by the Ukrainian frontier.
Product mix
Blackcurrant is a Baltic staple and behaves differently from the summer berries commercially: a different harvest window, a different price basis and buyers who are used to buying on an industrial specification. Blueberry and raspberry move here for retail packing.
Distribution
Vilnius and Kaunas cold stores are used as Baltic distribution points, which means a delivery here is often followed by intra-Union groupage to Latvia, Estonia or onward to the Nordics. Commercial notes
Volumes are typically part-load at the start. Because the corridor is short and largely motorway, a Polish consolidation hub is a reasonable route for a first order.
